SUMMARY:Bexhill Regatta 2016
DESCRIPTION:Weekend #2 – 21/22nd of May 2016 – Hastings and Bexhill Regattas \nSadly\, high winds on Friday night and Saturday morning meant Hastings regatta was called off. However the weather calmed over Saturday night and Sunday’s regatta at Bexhill went ahead on rough but certainly row-able water.\nIt was well organised day with strong performances in the bumpy water from the home club\, and also from Deal and Shoreham. It was Bexhill who took the Grand Aggregate on the day\, the result of a strong team effort and a lot of crews on the water placing well. Deal put in a strong performance to take the Junior Aggregate and the Novice Aggregate\, while Shoreham wont the Ladies Aggregate. It was Shoreham who took the most race wins and maintained their lead in the race for the CARA Grand; they took 8 victories in all\, including winning every ladies status race held.
